Nov 3, 2025 @ YWAM Kona w AL & Rebecca Henry
When AL went to Uganda, the boy he met wrecked him. This little boy would always wait at the door to hold his hand every morning. One day, AL picked up a small toy to give him the next day. When AL handed the toy, this little boy looked into AL’s eyes back at the toy, and then back at his eyes, and then picked up the toy and put it in his little pocket and then grabbed his hand again. AL was blown away and wrecked him as this little boy as if was telling him he would rather hold a father’s hands than the toy in his hands.
Often times, our question to ask about how gets in the way of giving yes to the Lord.
A week before Christmas, due to the confusion in communication, the local pastor and AL had confusion in schedules. When they arrived in the Thailand, the housing was packed and they had to find a place to stay. While the group and AL were praying for a place, safety, protection, all life essentials, Rebeca put out a word for a swimming pool. When she said that, a group of people at the prayer gathering looked at her, but Rebecca thought they’d need one for their kids. It turned out someone in local paid for a decent nice housing that AL may call it a luxury paid for everything for a place with a swimming pool. While people didn’t have faith, Rebeca did.
He and the team was operating out of his weaknesses with his team in the missions field, leading the worship at school.
Learning how to trust God with all your heart, how to put your faith and trust in the name of the LORD like onions. It keeps going deeper and deeper.
