Eg., “I have this impression. It may only be 10% right, but the fact that I have it tells me that something triggered it. Can we explore this together?”

When you communicate a disagreement with your teammate and he defends himself — and even refutes you harshly — build an emotional bridge to him by affirming his rebuke in some way.

💡 Assume healing before ‘fixing’: Irritation in a relationship may indicate a prior response that needs to also be examined.

When confronting someone, assume his innocence as much as you can.
